But there is much more to the story of the man and ministry now impacting the world with the life-saving and miracle-working message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Beginnings
Evangelist Godson Chukwuma Samuel Iroatu was born in his home town in Umu-Uba Villa, Ezeleke Umuopara in Umuahia South L. G. A. Of Abia State, Nigeria to the humble family of Mr. & Mrs. Chijioke Samuel Iroatu on Sunday 20th January 1974. On July 7th 1982, he lost his father to the cold hands of death. As the first in the family of six, he had to struggle to succeed in life through the effort of his step mother and mother respectively.
On August 13th 1991 Godson Iroatu’s life took on an entirely new meaning when he surrendered his heart and life to Jesus Christ as friends prayed with him. A Methodist by birth, he joined the Methodist Evangelical Movement M.E.M. Soon afterward, he migrated to Lagos 0n 4th February 1992 where he joined Assemblies of God Church .His first pastor was Reverend Johnson A. Achu the Sectional leader of Ojodu Section Lagos District then in Alapere Church in the present Alapere Section Lagos Mainland District. It was here he was called to the full time Gospel ministry in 1993. He worked as a Full time School Evangelist with the Scripture Union Shomolu Kosofe Zone, Lagos Area between 1993 and 1995.

Evangelist Godson Chukwuma Samuel Iroatu is a full time ordained minister of the Assemblies of God Church Nigeria, Lagos District. In 1999, he pioneered Champions Chapel Assemblies of God Church Iyana-Ipaja in Akowonjo Section where he nurtured and raised some notable Pastors and Evangelist doing great work for God's Kingdom. He has also pastored Restoration Arena Assemblies of God Church Abule-Egba and People of Purpose Assembly Oke-Ira branch of the church in Ogba Section. He was transfered to Assemblies of God Church Ifako Central International branch of the church also in Ogba Section known as Perculiar People's Assembly in 2009 and in 2015 he went to Alimosho Mega Worship Center. He is currently the Senior Pastor of The Leading Lagosians Church, Assemblies of God Egan 2 in Egan Section. He is an Evangelist, a Pastor, Teacher, Prophet and Missionary. His ministry has blessed people through Deliverance, Healing and Prophetic Services. He believes in and practices Holiness, Giving and Seed Sowing. His ministry has raised men from grass to grace, connected people to their breakthroughs, delivered men and women from the pit of hell. His Weekly Faith Clinic program has been a blessing to many that have connected to it. Testimonies of it abounds.

Godson, The Young Dynamic Global Evangelist is married to Evangelist Mrs. Regina Nwakanma Samuel Iroatu and they are blessed with two daughters-Godsown and Godscare and two sons -Godson Jnr and Godsent. The Iroatus reside in Lagos the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria.
Evangelist Godson is an alumni member of South West Advance School of Theology, Iperu; Christac Bible Institute, Ilisan; Global University USA and International Institute of Church Growth, Lagos. He trained as a Journalist and a Public Relations Consultant from Wolex Polytechnic Lagos, Nigerian Institute of Journalism Ogba Lagos and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. He is the President of Godson Iroatu World Outreach-A Prayer and Evangelism group that is committed to organizing open air outreaches, revivals, crusades, seminars and deliverance services that depopulate hell and increase the kingdom of God. He is available for invitation on programs that aims at bringing revival to the Church locally and internationally.
He believes in the blessings of those who sow to the kingdom work. He established Godson Iroatu Partners Fund (GIPFUND)-a mutual fund investment network for all his partners with high yields capacity. He also extended the gesture of financial prosperity to all and sundry by the formation of Wealth Accumulators Ventures-an organization that is involved in Business success of believers. This is done through co-operative and special business service for Business Men and Women. He also achors Apostolic Restorartion Mandate ARM, a prayer programme aimed at leading young ministers to seek for the restoration of the Apostolic Power and Miracles as in the days of old.

In worldwide ministry more than 23 years, Rev Godson Iroatu has preached the Gospel face to face and through printed page to thousands of people. Through Gilgal Conferences and Crusades, the Internet, printed pages, and audio-video recordings, radio, Television, this evangelist’s straightforward and uncompromising message of God’s love has inspired hundreds to a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Hundreds of people attend his Gilgal Prayer Conferences and Jesus Power Crusades each year both in Nigeria, African Countries, North America, Europe etc. During recent years, he has been involved in rural evangelism, yet his message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ continues to be fervent, motivating him to “go ye into the entire world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 15:15).
